About the Experience
Join us during Canadian Fertility Awareness Week 2025 for Hope in Bloom—a free community gathering for those navigating infertility or walking the path to parenthood. This year's theme is Fertility Unfiltered: No more silence. No more stigma. This year, we are encouraged to bring raw, honest conversations to the forefront—because every fertility journey deserves to be seen, heard, and understood.
This 90-minute supportive community gathering weaves together gentle yoga, guided meditation, and intentional space-holding to support your body, soothe your mind, and uplift your spirit. We'll illuminate the space green, the official colour of fertility awareness —a symbol of hope, renewal, and resilience.
In a world that often asks for strength, we invite you to soften. In a season that may feel uncertain, we invite you to root into hope.
Whether you’re just beginning your fertility journey, you have been walking it for some time or are honouring a fertility journey that has already unfolded, you are welcome here. We honour and embrace all paths to parenthood. Partners and support persons are encouraged to join and share in this experience.
What to expect:
Introduction to advocacy work led by patient advocate Ashlee London and Fertility Registered Nurse Steff Sullivan
Personal stories shared by Ashlee London & Kayla Shoreman
A fertility focused gentle yoga practice led by Cynthia Dennis from Charlottetown Yoga Space
Guided journaling with reflective prompts
Group discussion (optional to share) guided by Nicole MacRae from Oak & Cedar Counselling Services
Review of supportive resources
Closing experience
Please bring with you:
Yoga mat
Water bottle
Journal & pen
Anything else to support you (ie. blanket)
The yoga portion will not be a hot yoga class, but rather a gentle and supportive practice to help you ground into your body. No prior yoga experience is necessary—just come as you are. Please arrive a few minutes early to get settled in the space. Pre-registration is required for all attendees, including partners and support persons.
Let this be a space where your breath feels lighter, your heart feels seen, and your hope feels held.
This event was made possible by our generous sponsor: Inbloom Health PEI
Inbloom Health PEI is an integrative health centre offering naturopathic medicine consultations, acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine services with the goal of expanding your health care team. We believe when health care providers create safe spaces to feel seen and heard, it has the potential to transform feelings of isolation and confusion into self-assurance. Being able to understand the connections between our hormones, physical health, and emotional well-being through inevitable transitions doesn't just deepen our self-awareness. It gives us back the agency we deserve in our health journey and profoundly impacts how we care for ourselves. Our goal is to provide you that space with evidence informed guidance from our Naturopathic Doctors and Acupuncturists.
